# Interruption Engineering

Software does not fail only because of bad code.

It fails at the boundaries:
between services,
between teams,
between what changed,
and what nobody knew could break.

Interruption Engineering is the practice of designing systems,
teams, and processes for the disruptions we cannot fully predict.

Not merely to prevent failure
but to absorb it, understand it, recover from it,
and become harder to surprise.

Status: In development
Format: Essays, field notes, and an evolving engineering philosophy
